Lower school comprises grades 1 to 4.

Each class has their own class teacher, who stays and teaches them most of their subjects throughout lower school but children also have subject teachers starting from grade 1.

Our small school and class size gives children the opportunity to grow close to all the teachers in the school.

 

Children have 5 lessons a day and 1 study period, during which they complete their homework. In normal circumstances, children do not take home any homework unless study period is not enough to complete it, which is very rare.

Books are not taken home either with the exception of weekends and breaks to allow for revision and practice.

Lessons are 40 minutes long.

Children are given plenty of time for free play outdoors during the day and a range of extra-curricular clubs to choose from after school.
